Shawnee Community College offers an On-Campus Dual Credit Welding Program at the Ullin campus. This program is open to high school juniors and seniors interested in welding or related technical careers.

Key Benefits:

• Students earn both high school and college credit

• All textbooks, safety gear, and tuition are covered through SCC grant funding (for students earning a C or better)

• Hands-on training on SCC’s main campus, Monday–Friday afternoons

To apply, students must submit the following:

• SCC Dual Credit Welding Program Application

• SCC Dual Credit Admissions Form

• Early College Registration Form

• High school transcript

Paper copies are available in the Media Center.

Turn in all documents to Mrs. Slife in the Media Center.

Applications will be reviewed, and ten students will be selected for the Welding Program.
