We have a large club and for the past 15 years we have won the most awards of any club in the state of Illinois at state convention. Beta Club functions around the principles of character, service, leadership, and achievement. Students who are members are required to have a 4.50 or higher cumulative grade point average and complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service per Beta year (our year runs from state convention to state convention). The initial cost to join is $62, with $32 of that being the registration fee with National Beta Club and $30 for annual dues. Members receive a club t-shirt and club trading pin as part of the annual dues. Attendance at convention is not required for membership.
