Algebra
1-Develops the basic structure and technique of Algebra as these
processes are applied to equations about graphing and word problems and other
first-degree equations, ratio and proportion, conversions, irrational numbers,
scientific notation, Algebraic fractions, polynomials, inequalities, factoring,
exponent rules and quadratic equations. It also covers perimeter, area and
volume, and introduces the Pythagorean Theorem.
Algebra
2-Advances Algebra 1 and also includes basic geometry applications, the
basic trigonometry functions and their use, applications of various chemistry
and physics formulas, develops complex numbers, polar coordinates, and vectors
and direct and indirect variation.
