COURSE
DESCRIPTIONS:

Algebra
Work Keys - (1 math credit) This course is a bridge between pre-algebra
and algebra concepts. Areas covered include: Work keys and their levels,
arithmetic with variables, basic rules for algebra, solving equations of all
types, applications of algebra, basic factoring, and basic graphing.

Algebra I A
&B - (2 math credits) Students will learn the basic structures and
techniques of Algebra that will be applied to many real-life problems.

Pre-Algebra
- (1 math credit) This is an introductory course to Algebra I and Geometry.
It focuses on foundational topics for both subjects. Many connections to
out-of-school uses are offered and practiced. |

Geometry-
(1 math credit) This course explores the basics of shapes and their properties
and uses with emphasis on reasoning. Students learn to determine numerical
data about two- and three-dimensional shapes. |
