John Giffin CLASSES
This course covers a variety of physical science concepts. These include the scientific method, problem solving strategies, motion, energy, work, machines, matter, light, and magnetism. Hands-on strategies will be utilized. (1 credit)
This course is a continuation of the physical science concepts in Physical Science A. (1 credit)
This class is an introduction to organic and inorganic chemistry. The course includes the study of the family of elements, atomic structure, and the reaction of elements. Emphasis is placed on laboratory work and analysis as well as relating chemistry to the environment. (1 credit)
Advanced chemistry students will explore additional topics not covered in introductory chemistry. Some previous material from Chemistry I will be studied at greater detail. Emphasis is placed on laboratory work and quantitative analysis. (1 credit)
This class is an introduction to the major principles and problems of physics. Course study will include lectures, field work, and laboratory activities. (1 credit)
