Laura Cochran Educational Background I graduated from Carbondale Community High School in 1997. I spent the next two years studying at John A. Logan College in Carterville. I graduated from John A. Logan in 1999 and continued my education at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. In December 2001, after completing my student teaching semester at Vienna High School with David Hill, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English Education and a minor in Spanish. Professional Background I began teaching in January 2002 at Cairo High School and remained there until June of 2003. In August of the same year I began teaching for the Shawnee Community College Alternative High School Program in Metropolis. I began teaching at Vienna High School in August of 2004. Involvement at VHS (classes, taught, clubs, extracurricular, etc.) I teach English II, Spanish I, Spanish II, and Intermediate Spanish. I am also the sponsor of the VHS Spanish Club. |
